Oracy

“Oracy is to speaking what numeracy is to mathematics or literacy to reading and writing.” It is the ability to communicate or express oneself effectively using spoken language. It’s about the ability to structure your thoughts so that they make sense to others (English-Speaking Union). Oracy has no limits in its application and can be used to engage students in discussion and understanding in topics ranging from math to social studies to sciences and beyond.

Sensate Learning™

Sensate Learning ™ is a form of multi-sensory learning that engages the senses to create more meaningful and purposeful learning. Education that incorporates many senses or sources of input activates more of the brain and thereby has been shown to improve retention and recall. This approach to multi-sensory learning also improves problem solving and critical thinking.

Touch

Cross Lateral Patterns are essential in improving brain and body coordination. These movements build bridges between the left and right sides of our brain, which correlate to improved physical coordination as well as cerebral activities such as learning language, reading, writing and hand-eye coordination. These patterns also have a significant impact on social-emotional skills such as self awareness, impulse control, clarity of thought, situational insight, etc.
